Benchmark Benefit Solutions Inc.

Benchmark Benefit Solutions Inc. was one of the founding supporters of our opportunely named Benchmark Campaign. Their $10,000 donation was recognized with the naming of a bench for patients and visitors of the Brain Injury Rehab program on the 10th floor of Toronto Rehab’s University Centre.

Each year, 50,000 Canadians experience a brain injury (often called an acquired brain injury or ABI). The injury may be the result of a car accident or a fall, or it may be caused by a medical problem, such as a stroke, brain aneurysm or cardiac arrest.

A brain injury can change people's lives dramatically – and the lives of their families and friends. A brain injury may affect how a person moves, thinks, talks, feels and behaves, and can cause a loss of memory. Toronto Rehab offers a full range of inpatient therapies to help patients improve thinking, behaviour, mobility and function then safely and successfully transition back home.

Donations to the Benchmark Campaign are directed toward Toronto Rehab’s areas of greatest need: equipment, programs and research that are otherwise not funded by the provincial government. We thank Benchmark Benefit Solutions Inc. for helping make incredible happen through their gift.
