March is Nutrition Month. At Toronto Rehab we celebrate our Registered Dietitians who are helping “Unlock the Potential of Food”.

Choosing healthy foods can improve your health, help you feel better, and live longer. With so many options, it can be hard to know what foods to choose.

A new Health e-University video series, developed by Registered Dietitians in our Cardiac Rehab program in partnership with Longo’s, shares tips on how to choose healthy foods in the grocery store.

Making Healthy Food Choices offers 19 videos and companion tip cards about making healthier food choices and reading labels when shopping for foods such as:

  • Breads, Cereal and Pasta
  • Legumes and Nuts
  • Meats, Seafood, Cheese and Milk
  • Cooking Oil, Sauces, Condiments and Salad Dressings
  • Soups, Snacks and Frozen Foods
Healthy Eating presented by Longo’s is an important partnership that has enabled our Registered Dietitians to produce a variety of engaging educational videos and tools for Health e-University to help you Unlock the Potential of Food for a healthier lifestyle.
