Triathlons can be a lot of things, but tough seems to be the common descriptor amongst everyone. Oftentimes we find excuses to not participate in intense exercise and remain content with our normal daily activities
Meet Cardiac Rehab graduate Jeremy Olsen: A congenital heart disease, heart failure, and heart transplant ‘thriver’. Jeremy does not use excuses.
On July 22nd, Jeremy competed in the 2018 Toronto Triathlon Festival (in photo), becoming the first Canadian heart transplant recipient to complete this Olympic Distance Race. Through his triathlon events this year, Jeremy is raising funds in honour of our Cardiac Rehab program - the largest program of its kind in the world - to acknowledge and thank Toronto Rehab for its vital role in his journey.
