Red Rose Ball 2013

At a glittering evening of celebration, Toronto Rehab Foundation honoured financier Donald Ross at St. George's Society of Toronto’s annual Red Rose Ball on April 24. Mr. Ross was awarded the 2013 Award of Merit. Attended by over 550 individuals from across the mining, financial, health care, arts and education communities, proceeds from the Ball will support Toronto Rehab.

Donald is a volunteer and generous benefactor to many health, environment, education, and arts institutions. He continues to support a number of resource and other startup companies. Recently, Mr. Ross led a successful fundraising challenge to name Toronto Rehab's Lyndhurst Centre lobby in honour of his late friend and Lyndhurst co-founder John Counsell. He continues as an active volunteer at Toronto Rehab, garnering support for spinal cord rehabilitation and sleep apnea research.
