Continuing to inspire

I WILL is his mantra. Robert MacDonald overcame the daunting 5% odds of ever walking again to run the Scotiabank Toronto half-marathon in October 2015.

This Sunday, Robert is running the full marathon (42K), hoping to raise $150,000 for Toronto Rehab in gratitude for the incredible care and support he received at our Lyndhurst Centre for Spinal Cord Rehab.

Not only will this be an amazing personal accomplishment for Robert, but he will make history as the first Canadian ever with his level of injury to complete a marathon.

His story is gaining national attention: We wish Robert the very best in attempting this brave feat and thank him for choosing to give back in this very high-profile way. Go, Robert!
