14th Annual On Track to Cardiac Recovery

Congratulations to all who took part in Toronto Rehab Foundation’s 14th annual On Track to Cardiac Recovery fundraising walk.

There is still time to donate and help us reach our goal of $170,000.

All proceeds benefit Toronto Rehab’s Cardiac Rehab program including Cardiac College, a first of its kind e-health learning site and learning management system that teaches cardiac patients, and those at risk of heart disease, the important steps to recovery and prevention.

None of this would be possible without the support of our remarkable sponsors:
Longo’s, Becel, O’Grady Group & National Bank Financial, Clorox, PAL Insurance Brokers, TLS, AGF, KPMG, Howard J. Fergusson & Sun life Financial, Williams Family Lawyers, Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital and Paladin Security

We also must thank Glory Last (Yoga), William Kennedy (Qi Gong), Melinda and Mike Popovici (Mindfulness Meditation) and our friends at Goodlife (Zumba) and Body& Soul (Warm Up & stretching) that helped us get in the right mindset before starting the walk. As well, a special thank you to Carlton the Bear, Rick Nattress and Rob Oliphant for coming out and supporting us.

As always, the event came together because of the dedication of On Track Chair Jim Chestnutt and the terrific staff at the Rumsey Cardiac site, including Dr. Paul Oh, Rob Bertelink and Valerie Skeffington.

Toronto Rehab Foundation President and CEO Cindy Yelle was pleased to present top fundraisers with trophies and medals to mark their achievements.
